Our Vision:
“Without prophetic vision people run wild, but blessed are those who follow God's teachings.” (Proverbs 29:18)
To serve as a training center for building disciples of Jesus Christ, equipping spiritual warriors, and mobilizing individuals into their place of ministry for the advancement and expansion of the Kingdom of God. We are strategically positioned in Sarasota, Florida “for such a time as this” to embrace and experience a spiritual revival and awakening that will impart transformation locally and extend globally.
Our vision, rich in meaning, includes seven specific things that God has given us to enlarge our borders:
- We envision a ministry campus where hurting and needy people can encounter Jesus finding love, acceptance, forgiveness, hope, help, deliverance, healing, and encouragement as they discover their purpose in Christ. “To be a church with a place”
- To effectively share the gospel in word and deed with everyone within driving distance of our place of meeting and outreach our region and nation through media, literature, publications, radio, television, the internet, etc. “To be a reaching church”
- To implement effective discipleship training and development through prayer meetings, bible study and scripture memory, small groups, mentorship, and spirit-led training. “To be a building Church”
- We envision prayer teams, prayer chains, prayer nights, prayer small groups, corporate prayer and fasting seasons, a prayer and fasting network, prayer walks, prayer rallies, spiritual warfare teaching and practice, etc ... We believe that our effectiveness as a church depends on our prayer investment. “To be a praying Church”
- To live without limits. We believe God has called the Freedom Center to be a church planting church. We envision planting other churches in America and throughout the world. “To be a sending Church”
- To be a storehouse of unlimited resources, business opportunities, and finances in order to fuel the work of God. “To be a sowing Church”
- To passionately serve Christ with an undivided heart as we function in unity with His Body as a local expression of the Church with integrity and excellence. “To be a committed Church”
